I'm Alive With Adrenaline

when it comes to BADMINTON! =DD

14th May 2010, it was a night where all malaysians gather, it was the much awaited china-malaysia thomas cup semi finals derby which determines the fate of both countries. Yes, malaysia was kinda like the underdog obviously, but who cares, i'm still proud to be a malaysian. =)

The best of malaysia couldn't come close to the might of defending champions china, despite that, badminton is something that unite malaysians. I can see that from fully occupied mamak stalls, strangers screaming their lungs out and high-fiving each other in victory (i was one of them) =p. Eventhough our players collapsed in all the matches yesterday, they've put up great games, and i believe that all of us (at least most of us) were touched by some of those awesome moments. ;)

The duel between lee chong wei and lin dan started off with not much of a blast, although i was so certain that i should have studied, my eyes were glued to the idiot box a.k.a television whenever a badminton tournament is up, i just couldn't possibly let the opportunity slip even i had to face exam the next day or whatsoever. As soon as we lost in the first two crucial matches, i couldn't help but decided that luck wasn't on their side. At that very moment, i can only describe my feeling as numb. Disappointed. But still hopeful. I was wishing, deep down in my heart, that malaysia was to be given a glimmer of hope, like WONG CHOONG HANN PLEEEAAASSSEEE (we need more emerging talented players). =/ Well, it didn't work out, obviously. Our players' performance was good, but they were just not good enough! The game was mostly dominated by the enemy. =(

Lets jump to the conclusion, my point is that if you are to offer me two free tickets, between jay chou concert and badminton game with malaysia's player(s), no doubt that i'll grab the badminton one. =D Yesterday's match was on the run......and running real havoc......at a rate that attracted so many to putra stadium......kids, chicks, ah bengs, aunties, ah pohs, uncles, ah guas, all turned up just to support malaysia! Did you feel the ohm? =D The crowd turned gloomy as all the matches were so demoralising, and apparently our players didn't have strong mental strength to overcome the frustration. Sigh. =/

But but but but, no, it doesn't matter. I still love our players very very very muchhhh. =) ESPECIALLY LEE CHONG WEI. XD One day, one day we'll be so hysterical, so joyous, it will be so damn unbelievable to see history made in front of our eyes, it will be a moment to savour. Malaysian teammates celebratory mood will move me to tears, and indeed it will be a little shame to see the enemy lost after putting up such a good fight. No, that's not just a dream, it's a dream that we can all reach. JUST BELIEVE. =')

P/S: Great sportsmanship fu hai feng, cai yun and chen jin have there. =) Didn't you just feel like slapping lin dan? 'Cos i did, in fact i thought he should had tasted a size 5, or 6, from me. =) FYL MAN.
